Rooster Groove

Found a cassette a while back with some great grooves on some old tunes I have. Don’t even know who the original artists are.. no track or artist names.

One of these tunes starts with a rooster crowing.. hence the name of this post, and where I stole this groove from. It was a bit faster than this I think. Maybe I’ll do a couple more up tempo loops later.

    Rooster groove 1 already makes me want to write a song!

    2 is a bit more complex for me, but I’m not a real funker.

    Are they intended to work as complimentary fills?
    I’d find some fill variations useful if that was possible.
